Product Description

If you are anything like me, the thing that gets you up and awake in the morning is a nice, cold glass of juice. I prefer apple, you may prefer Orange, but the point is that it would taste so much nicer if you had made it yourself. This is where the Breville JE98Xl comes in. This juicer can help you to make fresh juice whenever you want it, so let’s take a closer look.

What does it actually do?

The basic principle behind a juicer is exactly what you would expect it to be. It will turn your fruit or vegetables into juice. This particular juicer however has a whole collection of features which make this process pain free and very quick. Firstly it has an extra-wide, 3 inch feeder chute so you can easily put whole pieces of fruit into it safely. This can create an 8oz cup of juice in just five seconds. I can’t think of anything I can do that quickly! It has an 850 watt motor, which is more powerful than a large number of its competitors so it should have no problems juicing your chosen produce. If you share my distain for pulp in juice drinks then you need not worry as the Breville is also home to a large pulp collector. To have a look at this specific model against others, why not visit House of Juicers to see what is best for you?

What is the design like?

Pretty stylish for a juicer is the answer to the above question. Obviously there are limits to just how stylish a juicer can be, but this one will give your kitchen an element of high tech style with its stainless steel and black plastic aesthetics. It is a chunky unit with its 13.8 pound mass. You will also need to clear some worktop space as it measures 13.2 x 16.5 x 18.2 inches.

What are the positives?

This juicer can take whole pieces of fruit at once and turn them into juice which is a big plus when comparing it to its rivals. It also has knife stabilizing technology to ensure that the produce is blended and blended well. The design of the machine could be described as sturdy, and yet it is still pleasant on the eye which makes a nice change where blenders are concerned!

What about the negatives?

Juicers are supposed to provide you with all of the vitamins of fruit and vegetables without having to eat them. Unfortunately for Breville it appears to waste this chance. Literally. Customers have complained that there is an extortionate amount of waste left after they have attempted to blend their ingredients. Not merely pulp, but large chunks of apple or whatever else they were using. This is not only a waste of the food, but a waste of money for you, so this is definitely something to consider when purchasing this juicer.

Should what is your conclusion?

The promise was there but due to a lack of foresight where the pulp generator was concerned this juicer falls down. Based on previous customer reviews it is a costly machine to run due to the waste it produces so it may be best to avoid this machine. Once these issues are ironed out the Breville has the potential to be a good piece of kit, but until then you should look elsewhere.
